为了动员更多群众加入到守护一江碧水的护河队伍中来，6月1日，万州区首批99名公益巡河员正式“上岗”。这批扶贫巡河公益岗位，是万州区为守护长江水清岸洁、增加贫困户收入的有效探索，首批99名公益巡河员分布在该区50个乡镇（街道），主要布局在居民聚居点、企业聚集地等污染易发、高发以及有重点关注问题的河段、水库，巡查区域覆盖22条重点河流。公益巡河员通过每天不少于2.5小时的巡河，巡查可能存在破坏或污染河库的行为，捡拾、打捞、清理河岸垃圾、水面漂浮物，及时发现并上报污染河库信息，并带动乡邻乡亲一同参与河库保护。</span></p><section
